No. If I want to deal damage I will log onto my warrior and Dslash spam my way.

Smiting isn't useful except for situations with lots of undead and gimmicky pvp builds.

I'm currently using rof, signet of rejuvenation, woh, ps/sp, condition remove, hex remove, aegis. But i cant decide the 8th slot. I've been using both gole and soa. I find soa good when theres one melee in party so you can prot him. However its only 7secs with ench mod so i kinda think its not very effective. Gole works nicely but i dont see it necessary. So which one should i use, or maybe use something else? This build has enough healing for me, so no need for more heals.

If you aren't finding GoLE necessary then definately don't take it. I always like SoA, I find it indispensable when dealing with PUG Leroys. If you want other options though, you could try vig spirit as a prot enchant topper (to ensure that your more expensive and/functional prots don't get stripped).
Shielding Hands/Gaurdian are other options, though most likely not necessary considering you have Aegis. You could even consider a second hex removal, spotless mind.

If you have access to any EotN PvE only skills you could throw in something like Pain Inverter.

I've been running this build lately: (PvE)

[skill]aegis[/skill][skill]spirit bond[/skill][skill]dismiss condition[/skill][skill]Signet of Rejuvenation[/skill][skill]shield of absorption[/skill][skill]guardian[/skill][skill]reversal of fortune[/skill][skill]word of healing[/skill]

12+1+1 healing
10+1 prot
8+1 divine

dismiss is quite often the skill that I change around quite a bit(for a hex removal mostly)

I'm wondering whether pumping healing up so much is effective in that build. You could lower healing by one, increase divine favor by 2 and loose therefore 9+5 on WoH and 4 on the signet of rejuvenation. But you gain 6 divine favor healing on each prot spell you use (you have 5). So effectively WoH heals 3+5 less if lived up to the condition, but all your prots will heal +6 more. I think putting in divine favor will outrun speccing in healing, but maybe its good to discuss that from other points of view.

Default Party healing for dummies

Spam skills 1-6 as they recharge. Use skills 7 & 8 on pressured targets.

Great build to run while eating, reading, picking your nose, or engaged in any sort of multitasking. Also, idiot proof in the hands of heroes.

[skill]Heaven's Delight[/skill][skill]Divine Healing[/skill][skill]Light of Deliverance[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill][skill]Life[/skill][skill]Protective Was Kaolai[/skill][skill]Healing Seed[/skill][wiki]Seed of Life[/wiki]

Seed of life can be replaced with [wiki]Renew Life[/wiki] on hero bars.

Healing 10 + 1
Divine 10 + 1
Prot 8 + 1
Resto 8

I've vanquished little more than half of Elona now, no consumables or PvE skills, with...

WoH
RoF
Dismiss Condition
Cure Hex
Aegis
GoLE
SoA
Prot. Spirit

My heroes have been:
N/Rt MoW - Minion bomber running PwK and Putrid Bile+Rising Bile for blowing up shit
N/Rt Olias - SS with some of the sabway stuff, but PwK
R/Rt Margrid - BHA with lots of interrupts + DPS

If I hench it, I use Sogolon, Kihm, Devona, Cynn.
If Tab and I go together, it's him as an RC, Hayda as SoR Motigon, Koss as DPS Dslasher, E/Rt Sousuke as splinter/AR bitch.

Not entirely, boonsmite is pretty darn nifty, even if just for nostalgia's sake.

[skill]reversal of damage[/skill][skill]smite hex[/skill]smite condition[skill]divine boon[/skill]smiter's boon[skill]defender's zeal[/skill]castigation signet,optional

With the optional slot for zealot's fire, CoP, heaven's delight, or judges intervention depending on your preference.

Healing: 12+1+1
Protection: 9+1
Divine: 9/10 + 1 (i forget lol)

I usually run this along with a Life Sheath hero or a RC Hero.
For HM end game missions i might bring a second healer hero

For 4 man hm missions i usually run:
[skill]WoH[/skill][skill]Dwayna's Kiss[/skill][skill]Patient Spirit[/skill][skill]Signet of Rejuvenation[/skill][skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill][skill]Dismiss Condition[/skill][skill]Holy Veil[/skill][skill]Glyph of Lesser Energy[/skill]

These are some of the builds I run on my hero monks:

[[email protected]][Shield of [email protected]][[email protected]][Mend [email protected]][Remove Hex][Leech [email protected]][power [email protected]][restore [email protected]]

Or sometimes:

[Patient [email protected]][[email protected]][divine [email protected]][[email protected]][remove hex][leech [email protected]][power [email protected]][restore [email protected]]

I have just brought a monk out of Pre and bought some tomes for him, this is the build I chose to put on him. A lot of people don't like Life Sheath but I always have:

[life [email protected]][Patient [email protected]][Dwayna's [email protected]][Shield of [email protected]][Shielding [email protected]][Mend [email protected]][remove hex][Res sig]
(the attributes are what i would use if a higher level)

Working ok so far in Ascalon ^^. I was going to use the elite tome on LoD but I think the recharge is too high to make it effective.

*edit* Is healing Ribbon any good? Looks good if you want to push a few allies red bars up at once.

Healing Ribbon is actually quite bad.

And I will suggest losing the Res on your Monks for something else, 3 seconds out of combat can be painful.

Primary reason for me to stop playing monk for PUG groups.
My guild knows I don't have a res on my bar in 95% on my bars and only take one when asked to (and they better have a good reason).

My monk has always been a smiter. Here's the build he runs in this day and age:

[Smiter's Boon][Shield of Judgment][Castigation Signet][Reversal of Damage][Smite Hex][Smite Condition][Divine Boon][Resurrection Chant]

Smiting Prayers 11+1+3
Divine Favor 11+1
Healing Prayers 8+1 (a remnant from when he used to be a DD smiter with Healing Touch - haven't been bothered to change this attribute)

Pretty standard, for the most part. He's never the primary monk in a party, and usually travels with one or two heal/prot hybrids who do most of the main work of keeping the team standing. The rez is only used when out of combat, or in emergencies when one of the main healers is down and nobody else has a rez signet left. Hardly ever have to use it, but it's nice to have that extra safety net just in case the worst happens.
